Despite our best efforts, we sometimes separate the headers from their toys. Then later when we come across the header again, we can't remember which toy the header belongs to - it becomes... an Orphan Header (the violins play a plaintive tune). Ma Hainey provides a safe and comfortable place for the OHs to live, forever if necessary, but she knows that the sooner they are reunited with their toys, the happier they will be. If you have an OH and would like help reuniting it with its toy, post a legible photo of it here and perhaps some kind soul will be able to assist. (This thread could become a central repository for such requests.) |

Hey, I have an Orphan Header. Can someone help me match it with the toy it goes with? Maybe someone is able to read the name of the figure and the toymaker? That would be awesome! Here it is:

Here are a couple more orphans. First, one is an M1 header, but not sure of the figure. Can anyone tell me what all of the other writing on the header says, besides the name of the figure? I have always been curious about this. ![]() Second, I think this is Gebora by Target Earth, but would like to confirm. What does the second blue phrase say? Thanks!

Of course it's the famous "Koweb" monster. You guys are dorks. You have to turn it on it's side, it's "Fee-Woo" by Noweb. The maker's name is on the left in plain English. And to the rest of this thread:

I really like the idea of this thread - it would be incredible to have a header database organized by company. Too bad I'm such a computer illiterate. |

KJB wrote: I really like the idea of this thread - it would be incredible to have a header database organized by company. Too bad I'm such a computer illiterate. Agreed! Not sure exactly how this would be accomplished, but it would be a very handy reference to have. Plus the art is cool. I suppose folks could photograph or scan their headers and submit them to a central source (simplest might be a dedicated thread but without pussy pictures). That still would require someone who can read what they say. Again, I have always wondered what a lot of the other information printed on a header says, as mundane as it may in fact be. |

Id guess the easiest way to do a header database would be a wordpress blog and mark every post with tags. Its an actual data base and ppl could upload as neccessary. Just wouldnt be on here. |

Can't see the whole thing, but enough to confirm. Thanks for the suggestion.
