I recently placed an order to secretb, but they accidentally sent me a Paypal invoice which had an extra item listed. (pretty much doubling my price) Before I could respond, they caught the error, & sent an amended invoice. When my package arrived, I noticed it seemed a bit oversized.... because they included the second item anyways. After sending an email to ask what I should do, here is the reply I received:

"Dear Terrell,

I'm so sorry for the mis shipment.
Could you add the item to your collection because of this
trouble caused by ourself?
Again we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience and will make sure
nothing like this will ever happen to you or any of our fans.
We hope that you will still continue shopping at Secret Base."

How cool is that?!?
Now I loves SecretBase even more!!!

That's great. What was it?

They once send me a wrong item. I shipped it back and they immediately send me the money for the shipping.
When the right item arrived, there was a SB towel and lots of stickers inside the box.

Although that's great, it really doesn't surprise me; every time I've ordered direct from SB they've been incredibly polite, as well as prompt (it still amazes me that orders will show up in well under a week most of the time). Their email communication is awesome as well. A lot of domestic retailers could take a lesson from them.

Thats sweet!

ToyTokyo has been real nice as well. I bought awhile ago, a 2008 SDCC Gid Blobpus DX, and they sent me the 2007 gid blobpus sdcc, then they sent me a blood red blobpus dx, and they said they made a error in their online store and that the 2008 sdcc gid blobpus dx was actually out of stock. They told me to go ahead and keep the blood red and 2007 sdcc gid. Which together the price was way higher than I paid for the 2008 sdcc. I thought that was pretty sweet.

i never bought from toytokyo before.
the one time i tried, the website wasn't working (probably due to my outdated comp, so this situation is partially my own fault). so i called up the number and talked to some guy forever trying to place an order and he had no idea what the hell i was talking about. even when describing the desired toy right from the description from the site.

but letting you keep 2 fucking stellar blobs for that is definitely worthly of getting me back as a customer!

All I'm saying is "Summer Special price."
or
"Two heads are better than one."

You do teh maths....
It is my sincere hope that this info will not encourage any ne'er-do-wells try to pull a fast one on the good folks at the Base.

Apparently you missed the point of his post. The freebie isn't what matters.
