I know this is early, but I don't think my opinion will change much the rest of the year.

1. Elegab
2. Super7
3. RealxHead

The first week of 2009, Grass Hut hosted the Gargamel crew in Portland. The show was killer, and the customs blew almost everyone away--worldwide. Have they stopped since? Notable highlights were the Kaiju Blue show, Le Merde's We Are Brothers at Thrash Out, SDCC, and the Thrash Out 5th Anniversary. Gargamel has to be somewhere in the top 3.

I know Elegab is #1 on my list.
Will have to think about the other two.

But Bemon...really?
Ain't nothing new from them except for the 2H.

Zollmen is a top candidate w/ all the sculpts they've put out.

Super7 is also up there w/ all the new SOI figs, especially the Mongolion.
The new Monster Family stuff also rules.
And don't forget about the upcoming Jumbo Stormtrooper.

I'd also throw AnrakuAnsaku in my top choice w/ their return.

Gargamel might just make the list because they're still my favorite.
They introduced the Rokuron and now the Buta Thrashman which are both fucking awesome.

And since I mentioned Butanohana, they'd make my list if I did collect them.
I love their dinos, wish there were more new ones.
But with their recent new sculpt releases, they'd have to be up there.

Not for this year, didn't find any special boogie this year. Maybe will change my mind after the half split boogie. Hopes cure release better boogie in future.

After joining the board (where so many virus around: bemon, zollmen, AA, gargamel etc), I'm now not only into boogies, there is so much in my collection now AA, bemon 2 headed, maza ,king pepora etc. Loves the 2 head and maza sculpt very much especially maza. I'm totally into maza after I scored 1, the sculpt and idea was so different and great...... Will post some pic next time.

hard to say... suppose i liked the toys of some dude who makes 5 toys every month in his basement because he's only able to sell 4 or 5. wouldn't I want to hype it up so he could sell a few more? of course the flip side of that is that my intent may be to drive up demand so i can sell what i have at inflated prices.

Yes, and some toys can't be found even you are willing to pay more. Not sure for those who lived in japan or any. But in my case, I prefer to know where/who to buy first then the price. If the price is too much then try next time but at least I get some offer or have a look on the picture. But that is my opinion.

no Morissey? You need some emo on that list because I would do nothing but wallow in self pity if I was stuck on a deserted island.

Turn that pity into productive rage, Slayer- Reign in Blood. I usually get more shit done when I'm pissed, but I usually break more shit too. I suppose on an island that might be good "coconut bashing" music.

I haven't been feeling all the bite-sized stuff they've been putting out, but the horror sets are great, the OG stuff has been awesome, and the beast chaos rules (but I don't like the painted stuff actually).

I think there is a misconception that Morrissey songs about about self pity and wallowing where as I think they very violent and angry. Most of them make me wanted to destroy the world just as much as a black flag song. Just saying!
