It feels like it has been forever. I keep hoping for a new secreter. What was the last fight figure? I honestly don't remember... |

They released a Skullbrain & a Secreter a few months ago when they were 'debuting' the colored GID vinyl, along w/ all those bagmen (& a bee, as well, I think). Those are all fight figures. |

Yeah I think the orange glow Skull Bee was the last fight figure. That one was awesome too! |

SB releases the only fight figs I'll buy, the only SB collabs I'll collect these days are with Pus. Last interesting fight fig release was the Orange GID Bee. There were the SDCC GFs but I won't collect those so they're off my radar. |

The Secreters continue to impress. It's the only SB line that has been consistently excellent since its debut. But I'm glad they're released so infrequently. I think it helps maintain the quality. |

After putting off buying 'em for the last couple of years then finally succumbing I am forced to agree . . . The diversity and random colour combos slay! The black dude from SDCC '08 then the UNKB dude from a few months back kinda hint at a yearly schedule (although WTF do I know andy wrote: But I'm glad they're released so infrequently. I think it helps maintain the quality. Also true . . . but the anticipation is killing me! Everytime I see the homepage update I get stoked, only to be deflated by more workshirts, keychains, Convex, 1:1 Skulls, Dr M's or whatever else is currently big in Hiddyworld! |

I think it helps maintain the quality. Agreed on both counts. Unfortunately I only have one Secreter (SDCC) as I haven't been willing to pay the price for the originals and stopped buying toys before the UNBK came out. I'd still love to get the whole set some day - or at least the very best of the set. Secreters really are about the only thing that I like coming out of SB - it use to be Skullbrains, but even Skullbrains outside of the Secreters have been pretty hit/miss for the past few years. Honestly, I think I'll be surprised if I ever buy another new SB figure. You know what'd be great - if Hiddy and Mori swapped companies for a year! Well, great for SB...maybe not so great for RxH! |

But then we'd just see crappy new sculpts and minis being pumped out of SB. Oh, wait. |

Thanks to a cool member, I just finished my Secreters set. Took me 3 years, but well worth the wait. Unfortunately, the Brains in general have had a hard time meeting the bar set in the early days, with Cocky, 1/6 Brain, etc. The line was cursed by its early brilliance. In general, once SB started screwing the pooch with trainwrecks like that red/white/blue splattered abomination, I turned away. With few exceptions, I don't think they've ever recovered. Still some nice figures, especially some of the Pus and Cure collabs. But I see SB as more of the agent of those toys than the brains behind them. |

Fortunately,, I completed an original Secreter set with the Employee a while back and kept adding to it. I'm okay with a slower release schedule and just overlook the other garbage that Secret Base releases. Besides the early figures, I really liked the mask rangers, the green GID Halloween set and the unpainted blue GID NYC set. Voodoo set and Night Shadow Mad Mantis are nice too. |

i'm very happy with the pace & occasional solid release. have to admit though... sometimes i get the itch of wanting something NOW & check their site on a daily basis. |

Right now my wallet is happy with nothing exciting, the collector in me hates it, and my detolf is enjoying the current situation of not having to lose anyone or rearrange. I am kind of living in terror of a "rains it pours" thing on the horizon. |

I wouldn't mind black vinyl and with a variant splattered cure pumpkin releases on halloween. Or an orange glow Halloween obake dog, they really need a halloween release of that sculpt and it might redeem the other two exclusive GID's which might have revived me buying from SB again had they been available. |

Hopefully we'll see something around Halloween. I would love an Orange GID Pumpkin! |
