Well that's something I'd like to avoid.

What a cool idea! I hope other companies take note.

Oh man this would be a great set to have. Reminds of the Classic Gojira box set that came with reproduction posters bromide cards and the M1 Gojira figure.

Yeah I saw this the other day. Looks great but I'm quite sure it will be all in Japanese. Maybe they'll have subtitles?

I am super excited about this. It comes with a mini Earthtron vinyl and tickets to buy repros of the standard size original Garamon and MechaGodzilla. As I have most of the original posters, including the one with the kid sleeping in the futon with all the toys around him, I am wondering if this will deflate their value and am hoping that they will be somehow different than the originals. I can't really tell from the photo, but I think they will be smaller. Getting repros of the original catalogs is, for me, the most exciting part of the set.

Thanx for the info!

Has anyone had any luck in ordering this from YesAsia.com? I tried to order it but when I proceeded to checkout a disclaimer stopped me from completing the order. It stated that "we can not ship to your country" and next to that it stated "release cancelled"

help anyone?!

Got my Bullmark Box today and it is fanfreakintastic! All the printed material is the exact same size as the originals with the addition of a little "Bullmark Box 1999" stamp in one corner. The video has 8 commercials including the one with the kid dancing with the bull that Yuji has scenes from in his toy catalog. There is also footage from 2001 showing the making of a B-Club Seamons from pouring the vinyl to painting to stapling the header. Wish I could understand Japanese.

Congrats Mark! Sounds amazing...I'm really into that kind of stuff.

I totally dropped the ball on buying this box set and missed it. I really hope to find one down the road...

I get the feeling I'm going to be paying out the ass for that MG repro on the aftermarket...

Well, may as well put it out there: guys, if any of you are willing to give up the MG, I'm sure willing to pay stoopidly large amounts of money for one! :P

No. If you want a region free dvd player, go to Sears or Sam's Club and get a Daewoo for under $25, go online and get the hack, and BOOM you've got a $300 all region player. Mine has played every file format I have thrown at it. There are hacks for other players also.
The Garamon repro is going for 7,000 Yen, the MG for 13,300 Yen and both for 19,600Yen.
The posters are a bear to roll out of their packaging but I will try to take a few pics when I get back from the Morphy auction.

This is quite true! That loose one went for 70k recently, right? I sure thought about it...but ended up passing. I'd rather have a MIB one. And speaking of which, a MIB MG went last year for around twice that, if I recall correctly. Well, if that's what the market's like on these, that's what the market's like... Just start saving now and hope the right one comes along again!

Mark, awesome meeting you at Morphy's! Wish we had more time to hang out! And incidentally, I have the Philips DVP642...similar hack...region free AND plays most computer formats! I love it!
