This just popped up at Marusan's news page, Marusan Wide:

It's 40 cm tall (the Godzilla is 37 cm). Looks like until February 15th you can mail order it through the site, then it becomes available for general sale on April 1st.

Pretty damn cool, especially if they do a glow version. Is this going to be the biggest modern kaiju vinyl out there? (I'm not counting M1 Go's human-sized Kanegon, of course.)

I'll settle for the hedoran above.

C'mon Frank, buy the giant Kanegon - it fits your collection and it will have a good home.
Better you than some company buys it for some lame ass promotional campaign.

And imagine seeing that baby in the morning before coffee.

I saw one of those Kanegon in a photo of Coop's collection. Frank, if you know coop you should go and check it out.

Frank, buy the giant Kanegon, I waited 6 years from the day M1 put in an ad in Hyper Hobby until I got mine and it was worth the wait. But 5K seems steep. That toy rules and nothing will ever be close to that cool.

You have one of those Kanegons Baikin?? That's impressive. Must be a major talking point when anyone comes by your house. Extemely cool.

The best thing I have seen though is Coop's 7 or 8 foot Tetsujin 28 (Gigantor). Talk about impressive.

Yeah, this is one of the best ones out there.

The other favorite is Marusan's GID Hedorah. I fine the sculpture, although not exactly movie accurate, aesthetically pleasing. I've seen the blue and green sprayed GIDs, I like blue best.

I was just notified about pre-orders on this version. Only 100 pieces made. Not my cup of tea...I could do without the spelling on the chest, for those who don't know who he is
