| Post subject: | Spotted in LA: New SB Goodies |
Hey I stopped by Span of Sunset on Saturday to pick up the 13th Bee release and to show them my new Chronic figure from Koji and new Obake from Zac. While there I spotted that they had a ton of new SB accessories. The Marvel Comics inspired key chains, some sweet looking metal key covers (never heard of this before, but they looked cool) some Rad new stripey tees (for UK folks, total Dennis the Menace style) and a rather cool work shirt with embroidered front pocket and screened back (Always makes me laugh that the work shirts they use come from the US, get imported to Japan, screened and then re-imported back). So, SB....not just for toys |

I don't get the coin purses. Does the keychain and all those coin purses really justify the $25 price tag? I mean, how much change could someone possibly carry? They should rock some real accesories like a belt buckle or a pair of brassknuckle, uh...I mean paperweights or even steel keychains like Porter brand from Japan. Muton, those striped shirts are hot, but why the ridiculous price tag for a work shirt that cost $15 most at your local work n gear? Is it the back and forth airfare costs? |

Yeah, prices are pretty high in Japan for clothes. Its crazy....thats why u see tons of Japanese kids shopping here. Span, and S7 generally charge a pretty similar price to what the gear costs in Japan. Conversely, the older toys are cheaper there than here...so when u go there all the clothes seem super expensive, but all the toys seem like a great deal. |
