I was thinking that the headers were for the regular releases and the bags w/ cards were for the smaller show & "neo-OG" releases. This is just based on what I have observed lately - no 'official' knowledge.

I think it's all across the board--except for the MZ3 stuff maybe. I got the D-Con Evil Bat and that had a bag and header. Recent releases like the flocked gachigon, milky trio, and reissues have all had the business card.

My comment was based upon getting the clear purple Evil Bat w/ a header. Maybe you are right that just the MZ3 get headers now.

What is with the black bags?
Noticed a number of the new larger Chaos figures came in black bags.
GID Oni had came in a small black bag.

Some were sold as a blind pull at a recent show. Don't know about the Oni.

For the Oni, I thought the black bag was just to protect it's GIDness. this is just something I heard on the boards. could just be a good guess.

Yes, the new one has belt and wristlets painted black. The painting on the head is also slightly different, i.e., masked head spots.
