I was going to put this in the "New Mook" thread, but it doesn't seem to be a "Mook", more an Encylopedia(?), so here is the thread in the Japan Toys section, I suppose.

This looks like fun! :D I'd love to spend an afternoon exploring it's insides, I haven't seen one for sale though.

I'd love to hear what you think of this book. Been interested since seeing pictures of it, but the image Futureman posted is the first interior shot I've seen.

Thanks for posting pictures Ian! Looks like a lot of well presented eye candy in there. Do you have a favorite spread yet?
So it looks like the text is in both English and Japanese, yes?

Yes all in English and Japanese - company profiles, interviews, captions and descriptions etc - looks like an interesting read too!
I'm 'supposed' to be working now after a day playing in the snow yesterday so not had a proper read just yet!!!
Like you say 'well presented eye candy' the photography is amazing

Looks great! Hopefully I can grab one.

My only disappointment is that my top three favorite companies are not in it (Exohead, Target Earth, and Anraku). But it is nice to see some coverage on more obscure brands like Blues Toy (I have wanted to grab one of those figures).

Yeah...I don't see Zollmen on the contents list either.
What's the retail price for the book? Anyone know?

With Super7 branded on the cover, is this going to be printed stateside as well? (US printing is less expensive)

Super7 will have these in soon. I will try to get a preorder up next week. I think we can do $33-35 on the book, the pre-order will be cheaper.

There is also going to be a toy offer included with the book. More on that later.

So is it still the same two toy offer that's printed at the back of the book?!...

This very top image is misleading as it does actually have a spine

Not quite as fat as an iPhone...

I like it when books/mags come with a toy.
