So I got that custom Hawaiian Zag in the mail today that was on the bay weeks ago. I have to say it's not bad at all. Mind you I've never held a sub zag but from pics I've seen it looks pretty identical. It did come with a bizarre header card I've never seen before. It has weird black and white sketches of zags on it along with garamels website address. I'll try and take some pics tomorrow and post them. Anyone ever see that header card before? My g/f let me use the camera for exactly 1 minute while she stood there, so I did not get a good pic: ![]() Custom Hawaiian Zagoran by Beautification Syndrome, on Flickr Major difference I spotted, the customizer put a blue stripe on the tail (not one in original) and the reddish pink spots are more a dark pink than red (same with mouth). |

I think that is the header from the original Rakugaki Zag. It would make sense if the Hawaii custom Zag is on a flesh base- pretty close to the pink color. The question I would have is- who did the custom? |

Yea, that's most definitely the header card that came w/ the Clear Zagoran. |

Was that the one from Taiwan? I'd love to see a better pic of it... and learn who did it. Looked decent. |

I sent a message thru ebay asking who painted these and the response was " I have no idea." or something to that effect. |

Daniel is right then because even though the feet look like the base vinyl is pink (so smooth it looks not painted) it is indeed flesh vinyl. I popped off the old style zag tail to confirm. So that takes care of my header question. I'd also love to know who painted it myself (Ralph I got the same response- no idea!). OK well I'll try an get a pic in tomorrow. I'll have to beg the g/f to let me use the camera (lol). I mean I'm no expert on customs but it's not half bad. I mean if I were to find a real one I'm sure I'd have paid twice what I paid. |

Chris, isn't unconditional love supposed to include sharing?? I think we need to talk to this girlfriend. Tell her that all of your nerdcore friends are getting irritable. No one likes an irritable nerd. |

So someone painted a knockoff of the original production pink hawaii zagoran? That's seem kind of bizarre to me. I understand if someone did the yellow version on a zag but to duplicate and mimic the paint scheme of the same one is kind of weird to me. And yes..i'm sure I'm the only one who feels that way. And I'm not hating or a "hater" as the kids say. Was it expensive? |

posted two pics, I had no time to actually compose as I wasn't "allowed" to use it for more than a minute- I'm so saving for my own high end camera, fuck this! Anyhow Bryce I think it ended around $142.50? Not that bad. I'm happy with it. It's definitely the route I'm taking with the M1 Yellow Painted LB Matango also eventually. MY wallet will thank me. |

not bad... the black looks like it wasn't thinned properly, or the brush was slightly clogged... other than that, it's pretty nice looking |
