As you would expect from M1, these guys have totally awesome paint. Both are black vinyl. Sanda is painted brown with purple spray and Gaira is a fantastic metallic green with yellow. Both have silver spray on their hands and feet and well painted faces. Anyone else have these?

Nup, and not sure I could even guess what they look like, but damn the paint sounds fine.

Was there a movie w/those characters in it-something like a godzilla/king kong theme to it-the brown was the bad one and the green was the good guy-I vaguely remember as a child seeing this movie-the only reason i remember it is the 3 years of nightmares it gave me-lol-the title was Gargantuan something....

You got it - "War of the Gargantuans" was a Toho movie directed by Inoshiro Honda. I think there were several alternate titles. Actually though, I believe the green guy (Gaira) was the bad one and his brown brother (Sanda) was the good one. Lots of wreckage - and Kumi Mizuno too! :D

If you guys start collecting old school monsters M1 is the way to go, no one surpasses their quality. They are Gargamels mentors so that is saying alot.

Great - here comes more competition on those Matango auctions! Remember though, CCP hedorahs suck!

Actually, I once told a guy with a pretty big collection that I wanted to concentrate on Matango toys. He said "I wish I'd thought of that..."
