Luckilly Gorilla-Ji doesnt do much for me...but this mecha gorilla version really resonates with me. Now I just need to figure out how to get one......

I am surprised, I know "first" usually pulls in a bit more but 1- Gorilla Ju's never go that high (that I've seen) and 2- We know there will be more. It's not like this is some "on the out" failing line of figures. Dude's active pounding these things out.
Whatever though, I thought it'd go $700-$800 HIGHEST but not nearly double, yeesh! But it's part of my love of this crap, even if it is out of control, it's always surprising.

i'd love to see a graph or analysis of the buyers the spend more than $1,000 on any single toy and the toys they purchase (non-vintage).

Yup, and that's why I'll never own one. I think $80 is pretty extravagant for such a toy.

I prefer the first version. I almost don't like this one. Don't mind for that brown tone nor the blue highlights.

There is room for another big head t-rex in my book. Something that rips a Goga to pieces. Just saying, I am a dreamer...
By the way... Did any of my fellow brainers score one of the Mecha Gorilla-Ju's yet?? I could use some desent pictures^^
