Great posters, wonderful type treatments/illustrations/compositions. Makes me sad, that movie poster design is no longer the art it used to be (there are a few exceptions). Now it's just helvetica bold font with a still from the movie.

I love old poster art - fantastic stuff. Here's some more old Daiei Studios posters. The seemingly giant 500Y stickers is because these posters are in the form of shitajiki (AKA pencil board or writing underlay) which are the size of a piece of paper.
