It doesn't seem like Khappa gets much love in the sales thread or in general discussion. Is this because the figure is not new? Seems like the sculpts are pretty bad ass and the versions I have seen all look good. What are your thoughts on Khappa and if you have pics, post em!

Which Khappa? The Shirakuna Koubo one?

I think the story behind Khappa is pretty creepy/interesting. Of the Khappa toys I have seen, the SK version is the one I like best. Would love to own more of this guy.

Buy the clear painted LB version onibaba5 has for sale. The most mysterious of the SK Khappas and an incredible price. Check out his great photo.

I have a tattoo of him riding on the back of a Koi on my arm...pretty interesting water deity.

That is the version I am most familiar with. Being a Japan toy Fresh Meat I am not sure how many different sculpts are out there. I thought the fact that it is a part of Japanese mythology was cool instead of just coming from a movie or TV show. I want that lucky bad one and if money allows I will grab it for sure. I just think it's a great looking toy and was surprised that when I did a forum search I got next to nothing. Glad to see I'm not the only one who like this guy. Although that would make them easier to get, wuhaha. Any pics of that tat gintree?

Did you try searching "kappa" instead of khappa?

Koji Harmon's Tokoji Seijin is a Kappa figure, if I recall correctly that is.

Yes! that's a kappa too, and there's the Yokai wars one and Sunguts Suiko is one as well. I'm sure there's more but right now I can't remember them...

Sorry if his is derailing, but i reallllyyyyy want them to make that KIRIN into a toy!

The Shirakuna one is pretty neat, especially with the double face, reminds me a lot of:

The Shikaruna Khappa is an amazing sculpt. The pose is incredible, like he just came out of the water standing on land for the first time. Plus it is massive. That said, I like this tiny Khappa too... :D
Mine likes to hang out with my gargamel micro oozebats.

There's also the Le Merde one, that I actually don't know if it's meant to be one of these.

Aha -- I never put it together that the Sunguts Suiko was related to Kappa. Good call.

Ditto on the Kirin sculpt.

Super fine sculpting (and painting) by this company. I have said it before...oni's price beats one I bought by $35.00 :x
