You might have to elucidate a bit more on what you mean. That is kind of a wild field. There is certainly more vintage available than modern stuff. You might ask Ricky, he is quite the fan.

A simple search will probably turn up the most common pieces (there are not that many compared to other licenses). From a cursory point to start you off, here are a few examples I know of:

Marmit (w/ Liberty Planet)

Liberty Planet (I think)

unknown black version

Vintage wind-up from Nomura

Cool mexican bootleg

and a personal favourite, this awesome bootleg from Greg

If you referring to the Liberty Planet one I picked it up I think a couple of years ago something like 60 USD on YJA (+ fees, s&h and all the rest).

Actually there were very few "vintage" Ogon Bat "vinyl" figures made.
When the Sonny Chiba film (1966) and animated series (1967) were released along with the new design of Ogon Bat ( as opposed to his spanish 17th century garb from his initial creation in the 30s, reflected in Popy chogokin), a variety of toys were briefly made during this period. Some tin figures/robots, buses, cars etc and the bootleg poly figures. However when it came to vinyl, all I know of are the Yonezawa 8" & 13" Jumbo ( pictured is the Jumbo ). A while back I came across a really great 18" vintage inflatable that I'd never seen before, also pictured.

If anyone knows of any other vinyls made in the 60s of Ogon Bat I'd love to hear it.

bonemask has 3 Golden Bat model kits in his sales thread.
Golden Bat is also his avatar so he may have some helpful info.

I remember reading an interesting article on Ogon Bat, I think it was in the Super7 magazine. I'll check that for you tonight.

Steve, that "unknown black version" you have pictured above is a modern Marusan sofubi of him (which I happened to score recently for a song!). I *think* they also did a "full-color" gold version, but I'm not sure. Obviously, the idea was to depict him as he appeared in the Sonny Chiba film.

Thanks Sanjeev - and great score finding that guy, especially for a nice price. There is definitely a huge gap in OB production figures; I am hoping someone corrects this soon (M1??? :) ). Love the thread revival, and the love for this great character.

Not to boost the thread, but one of my favourite vintage heores has always been Gekko Kamen, and while the vintage options are actually numerous for him, it strikes me as odd no one has attempted a new vinyl production of him either. Actually, now that I think about it, after seeing what Medicom did with the Devilmen figures, I think they would be perfect to reissue some of these classics it is so hard to get in the originals market.

Imai did some models, and there were alot of non toy releases, i.e. card sets, stcikers, stamps, official pins and i think I saw a bento type box once. You can also find some toys that are just the Golden Skull heads as well.
I own the movie, its cool and there is some manga compilations, as well as serial manga in anthologies.

I have a question, this was made by Marmit?
I must suppose it's a new edition.
