So I bought this Japanese vinyl Freddy toy and I can't seem to find much information about it. All I know is the makers name (Gaga) and I think it might be from a series or something. If any of y'all have any more info I'd love to know!

I know everything about it, but refuse to answer any posts where someone uses "y'all." 8)

Just kidding of course, looks like a cool figure, what size is it? It is kind of interesting to me, as it is just straddling that middle ground between sofubi toy and realistic sculpt. Basically it's a great vinyl action figure - you can't go wrong.

Even as a non-Friday the 13th fan, I think he is cool. Plus, that is a sweet removeable fedora.

I'll stop saying "y'all" when you get your franchises right!

It is a great toy, definitely more on the sofubi side of things which is why I like it. It's about 12'' tall so he has a great presence.

My mistake guys, too many 80s franchises on the brain, one can slip out as another. I fully admit to my idiocy.

I haven't seen one of those in years!

Seriously, late 80's early 90's?
i think I used to see them in Hobby Japan ads all the time.

I wish I knew! I honestly didn't even think it was possibly 20+ years old... it looks brand new. The seller usually deals with vintage kaiju etc so that makes sense. Definitely has the feel of a Medicom toy.

I remember this being produced by Medicom too, came bagged with a backing card and header. I used to see these everywhere but come to think of it, recently a whole lotta zero. I might even have this in a box but it belongs to my wife.

The stencil work on the sweater is really nice.

I think it is interesting to have "Not For Sale" written on the sole of his shoe... More information and pics here.

^ Yes, maybe "Not For Sale" version was given away to promote the release of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" in Japan...

Could be! Very well done and forgotten toy.
Am I just imagining, or did Imperial toy make a really jacked up rubber one?

I'm suprised this went under the radar for so long around here. He was a medicom release but is still pretty easily available. I always wondered why he wasn't more sought after?

Who doesnt love a burnt up pedophile with a removable fedora

Man, i would of killed for something like this in the 80's. I was mad on Krueger . . . . i had him painted on the sleeve of my leather jacket :)

What a huge horror icon . . . along with Pinhead, Jason, Michael Myers, Leatherface and Hannibal Lecter.
