On my monitor they look like a light root beer colour . . . i swear i've seen other pics of the unpainted clear set that looked like a light root beer too

Anyway, they all seem to go for reasonable prices except this set which tends to sell for silly money!

If you look at the sets of Saburo and Goru (the dogs) in this catalog... i just got the one on the top left... kind of a semi clear rootbeer color and detailed painting on the faces: Haven't been able to find information on these... just curious if anyone knows anything about the set... awesome vinyl!

Pretty sure those were the first two released. AKA "Cyclops Dog" and "Oni Dog." Considered difficult to display by some collectors, but still a good OG RxH find.

Here's mine to give a better idea of scale . . . its weird, but you dont see these pop up very often. I like them a lot, they are nice and chunky and heavy with a light glitter in the grey vinyl. I dont think these are all of the colorways but these are the ones released between 2004-2008. I always wanted the clear 'root-beer' versions.

Thanks for posting the old catalog photos- I forgot that the Jinmenken were included in those. Which one is the root beer version? As far as I know, there is only one other set not shown: the tan base set from around 2009.
