One of the best apes I've seen in years!
I LOVE IT!
So much bizarre charm and character in this guy!

I'm liking the sculpt as well. Seems a bit on the small side at 5.5 in but the price seems worth it. I took a chance here getting the pair. Would be great if it came with an omake. Hands seem perfect for it.

his instagram has a couple of other molds that seem cool, if he ever gets around to finishing them. particularly a mecha kong type.

Pretty cool and executed very well, if a bit too cartoony looking for my personal preferences. I don't really like how it is bordering on SD proportions (only enhances the 'western'/cartoon look), but again, that is all my own taste; I can see it being a popular figure. Now where is that guy complaining about anatomical accuracy in toys? 8)

I wish the head was separate from the torso, although that would probably change the sculpt. this is one cool ape.

I thought about ordering one but the lips seem to ruin the whole sculpt, and the eyes aren't great, but the eyes weren't an issue for me with the unpainted. Still, those lips are just nasty to me. I'm interested in seeing what other sculpts pop up in the future.

$20 is the minimum into the UK, plus another $20.00 minimum charge if UK customs get involved . . . it was more highlighting Kev's dismay at being bent over this one time!

US collectors have it way too easy!

Really? I didn't even get that far but it would have made the decision even easier. Those Botox lips must be filled with gold

Everybody has there own thing and this is mine. Love the oversized lips. Reminds me f something Abbot and Costello would come across. grabbed both. Shipping always seems higher from Europe.

Haha, tell me about it, having to pay 20$ one time... wamp wah.

God, I remember the awful customs charges in the UK. At least here we have a leeway (400$, although I wouldn't be surprised if that changes in the near future).

I ended up buying the painted one this past Sunday. I like the mouth a lot, but get if it's not people's thing...to me it walks the line of being cheesy and cool at the same time, I guess that's why I like it so much.

I dig it. It reminds me of something out of a 90s nickelodeon cartoon. The Wild Thornberries n such.... But those lips sure damn look like they can a suck a quarter through a keyhole

I think this ape is rad, and ordered a painted one on Sunday, but for $20 shipping, I thought I would've received a shipping notice by now.

It costs almost $20 to send a toy first class from the US to Asia.

Keep in mind, only a couple guys do this full time. Most people have a day job, and when you have 20 or 30 boxes to get out and you are working during the week it can take time. Also with international shipping comes the very time consuming and annoying addition of filling out a customs form.
