Figured with the first release this weekend at Dcon it would be a good time to start a thread for the new toy from Dennis - hopefully more releases are not too far away. I wonder how the different heads will be offered in releases?

It is an amazing figure, also share one characteristic with the Kumon; a face in the belly.
I hope Dennis offer these figures in any lottery or in his website soon . I like the two version heads (with open and close mouth) but the head with an open mouth makes the figure look more fierce.
I would like to see the complete figure made of flesh vinyl or a GID version; It would look great. :!:

The two-head theme has been done to death, but when it is done well, I still enjoy it. And I would absolutely love to have one of these towering over my Kumon collection. That blood red marbled one is a stunner.

Kiyoka did the sculpt I am guessing? Would love to hear a bit more about the development of this toy.

Congrats Dennis.

I love this figure. I collect monster cats and this is a must-have for me. I am so bummed not to get this first release. Did anyone win this one at D-Con?

It's an amazing sculpt. Absolutely stunning.

I was absolutely overjoyed to have been able to see this sculpt in hand, and honored for its debut at the Lulubell booth. This toy is beefy and terrorizing in the best ways, and the cute head chase was super rad to see when it was pulled. Very much anticipating the day I can hopefully add one to my shelves. Dennis simply does not disappoint.

The first pic's colors really make it for me. I'm not big into the cat monster sofubi that's out there, but I like this beastly one. I'm all in for a tiger colorway..!

OT but do you have any pictures of your monster cat collection? I love negora figs and I'm just starting a small collection of my own.

It looks totally amazing in person. It's way bigger than I thought so for me I wanted to wait for a version with some of Dennis' amazing paint on it! The split cast vinyl though was mind boggling.

I absolutely love the sculpt and the different heads... Hopefully they won't be as hard to score as Kumons are. Who am I kidding.

The blue to yellow marble seen in SaintOfSpinners's DCon haul picture is cray good. It's a color blend I am kind of partial to [see my avatar for details].

Would one of you lucky scorers post a shot with some other toys, please? I'd love to get an idea of the true scale of this big kitty.

I do not have one to take a pic of, but I did see it and hold it in person, and it is huge. It has a weird way of looking a lot smaller in pictures imo, which I would have much preferred. I do not like how a lot of artists have been making really big toys lately, because most of them are really amazing, but I do not have the space nor money to handle getting them.

I don't know about this one....
Usually i love cat monsters or weird cat kaiju. I'm just not feeling this one, strangely enough.
I think it's the 2 heads i have a have a problem with and maybe also how the fur is sculpted very detailed. I'm actaully more interested in the little wolf fellow coming out.

I have lots of pics. The monster cats started out as a side collection, but they have overtaken everything and now they are THE collection, as I focus on them almost exclusively now.

Come join a group I started on Facebook for negora (and other monster cat) collectors. It is where I post my pics. I will get around to posting here someday, too, but I find it so time-consuming to post pics here, as they have to be uploaded somewhere else first and then you have to copy and paste a link to each one. So I generally post pics on Facebook instead.

If you collect negoras or other monster cats, please join!

This cat monster toy is really impressive. Loving allot of the different colored blanks and marble swirl shots popping up.
