I am new to the Kaiju scene, having come via "urban" vinyl. I am keen on the Hedorah figures, regardless of make. As a newbie to this, can someone help advise what brand might a fig be if it has "SAN" stamped on one foot. Furthermore, is this a common brand, expensive/cheap etc. Any resources to find out more would be handy. Thanks in advance. |

That would be Marusan...most versions aren't too hard to find/expensive. |

A really cool Marusan Hedorah is up for sale in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. I've been trying to resist the urge to buy it... http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=7420 |

Marmit and CCP make some great Hedorah figures, too. CCP has made figures of Hedorah in his several sages of evolution; tadpole, flying, etc. and most of them have eyes that light up. Marmit and Marusan have made some great variations of the Smog Monster, as well as Bare Model. Happy Hunting! |

I love Hedorah. I think the CCP walking sculpt is my favorite. |

And of course figures by M1Go...I actually prefer their hedorah sculpt over the Marmit and Bear Model ones. |

WOW! Thanks everyone. The figures I have stumbled across via this bbs have really fired up my passion for figures again. I felt twinges of it diminishing as James Jarvis's World of Pain series has drawn to a close (for now?) and BxH have become a bit too excited over colour variations. But you have shown me that there is a LOT more out there to discover! Cheers! |
