Hey guys,
This event is taking place from 7-10 pm on Feb. 14th at The Showroom NYC, 117 2nd Ave., 2nd floor.
Custom made, hard-to-find, and signed pieces by a bunch of artists whose work appears in the book.
Also, copies of the book will be on sale--it doesn't officially get released until April.
Sponsored by Sapporo and Gekkeikan.
Good times.

Look on the bright side...it may create a selling opportunity for all the toys in the book. I may post full sets of deros, tigerbabys, jled and dorbels on ebay. I could run a "one click" collection store.

At least they aren't running any fucking [expletive deleted] on the flyer. Just that bloody JLed rabbit thingy. The TravelA and Bigfoot toys are damn sweet though.

Yo Knewnan,
I'll offer your Clear Duro an even better home than hyperparasite. I promise to take very good care of him , feed him GID jello, read him bed time stories and tuck him in every night.

I took clear dero to super7 last weekend hoping Brian would be there and I could show it to him. No luck. I walked around with him in my sweatshirt poket all day but never got a good photo of him.

It took awhile for me to warm to the Dero, but now I have I can't find 'em!! Dero came out in the early days of my serious vinyl buying. You're right though Knewnan, respect to the Dero and the Mars-1 there too.

The Dero clear is super sweet out of the series though. Do you have all the colours Knewnan? You probably picked up the set of four through Wootini maybe. I don't feel the Squires though I must say. Interesting, but not me...yet...no doubt I will love them when they are all gone. Again.

JC Strange from StrangeCo posted a similar invitation over at the rotofugi forum and got a similar reaction. I think the StrangeCo people edited the offending book. Evidently MTV is not popular anymore? Am I the only one who thinks that little pixie Martha Quinn is kinda cute?
