Per request of vintagevinyl, here's a shot of my group of Popy Jumbo Machinder villains. Some day I'll have enough room to have a fitting way to show them off. In the meantime, I hope this picture doesn't suck too much. ![]() |

The four in the back are about 20" tall, while the three in the front are about 1-1.5" shorter than that. For those that don't know Jumbos, the characters are (top, l-r) "Dabulas M2", "Kame Bazooka", "Hasami Jaguar" and Kingdan X10", (bottom l-r) "Spartan K5", "Green Ghost C3", "Rokuron Q9". KB and HJ are from Kamen Rider V3 while the rest are from Mazinger Z. I am still missing "Taihou Buffalo" and "Lenzari" from KR-V3 and "Garada K7" from Mazinger Z. Taihou Buffalo is attainable, but the other too are among the hardest Japanese toys to get. Nearly impossible. |

hey , brian said to step down from your 24 inch pedastill . well , you did . these vinyls IMO are the very best and one of the hardest if not impossible to complete . these straddle the line between being part of the jumbo machinder line up and just being vinyls in there own right . dave has 7 out of the 10 which i think may be the most in this country . tom frank has the legendary garada k7 which is one dave is missing but daves will power and tenacity im sure there will be two of those in the states one day . the 3 headed rokuron Q9 just blows me away .my official next pipe dream . |

Can I ask if the market has made it easier or more difficult to find these toys now? And I've seen some of the prices, is it possible to complete a set or easier to buy a Ferrari? |

Now you got me hunting for the dvd he is in . Thanks for posting these |

I like seeing vintage pics like this because I love everything about the toys, but know that it'll be a cold day if I ever see so much as one of them in my own collection. Thank you for posting that. |

I like the pictures cause it keeps reminding me that there's a huge world of toys out there besides the three companies on the index page. |

Thanks for all the kind words. I guess I'm just never happy with my pics, especially for these guys. I just never feel like I've done them justice. My personal pipe dream is to get the remaining villains I need and have a giant in scale image of the second series box painted on a wall, with each toy positioned in it's appropriate place on a shelf in front of it. Then have the text standing up in the front, attached to the outside edge of the shelf. Here's the box I refer to if you've never seen . Beautiful artwork, imo. ![]() As for the turtle guy, that's "Kame Bazooka". http://www.collectiondx.com/node/1169 |

Beautiful artwork, imo. ![]() How about a life size plexi cutout of each figure on a redwall trimmed in black and yellow? They would be almost exactly like that box but scaled to slightly larger than life size. That's something I would do for my house just because I don't have the figures. |

" Kame Bazooka is a cross between an animal and a man-made object. It is simply a mutated turtle with a giant bazooka on his back. "Kame" is Japanee for "Turtle", hence "Kame Bazooka" = "Turtle Bazooka". Simple enough. In the show, Kame Bazooka actually had a hydrogan bomb implanted in his body with the goal of destroying Tokyo, as well as a body augmented with a special protective alloy." ..he is not fucking around. I want one. |
