Wow the depth of Marx's toy bench never ceases to amaze...

There was also a large battery powered Indian I think was included in the Nutty Mad line as well as a smaller wind up of the same figure. It was a Indian chief with a goofy face beating on a drum.

I had posted this guy separately before finding out he was a Nutty Mad, as well. (The cheap dimestore variety.)

The flash show the detail a little better.

Thanks for the clarification. My 'research' was looking on ebay  Mine is an original (found in a dusty box in a closet on a Xmas visit), but the bay had quite a few solid plastic figures by Marx presently remade in Mexico. Definitely buyer beware.

Lots of the old marx molds are in Mexico. Nutty Mads, Universal Monsters, the 5/6" soldiers of the world. They are made of really crappy mold injected plastic - not like the old Marx manufacture at all.

WOW - I have never seen those before!

Any idea from when? The lion looks almost like a Japanese character.

Naw - I have stuck my foot in my mouth way to often around here already (Banana Splits thread  ).

Cool little figures. The cavemen looks kinda familiar but not enough to hasten a guess.

Seriously. I am not a huge fan of trikes in general (though some are undeniably great), but I am a huge fan of Halloween and Halloween toys, and I love that one.

I have two of the three trikes, I still need the grey dude. And I need all of the smaller friction tin cars. Years ago I found a headless one, and it has haunted me ever since. For some reason, I just can't get into the big buggy or the large indian though.

Yeah you traded it to me (the headless car) and then I think I sent it back to you didn't I a year or so ago when I came back across it?
