Post subject:  Takara Microman vinyl? ID help, please
A couple of years ago I picked this guy up at the local toy show for a couple of bucks, along with some other reasonably obscure 80's vinyl character toys.

No paint on back, and all it says on it's foot is "TAKARA"

Then, just the other day while enjoying some ancient Microman commercials on YouTube I saw this guy appear to attack Microman's Rescue Secret Base! Check him out 10sec into the spot

I just about flew out of my chair! Microman vinyl?! I thought I was on top of Microman, but I guess not. Can anybody fill me in?

These were "buddy monsters" that were paired with the Acroyear Amazon toys. I know someone else who found one of those loose in a bargain bin. Good score!

Thanks, Roger. With that tip I was able to unleash the flood of info out there. What kills me is the same vendor also had Acroyear Amazon accessories! I can forgive myself for not making the connection because they look so bizarre. I snagged some great old stuff either way.

see, if I knew what was up two years ago I could have helped Bacon Ace out with a spinning shield. Maybe I'll find that vendor again someday.

Thanks again for the help. I have a handful of other 80's vinyls that I can't name, so I'll posting more pics at some point. It's good to know I'm not alone in this quest.
