Nice PK - I think it is a composite (more then likely wood pulp) with the paint flaking off ? Not much can be done other then keep it out of dry heat - not typical LA weather right?

Still very cool and probably fairly rare

EDIT - Composite Head, feet and body. Tail and neck are probably solid wood beads strung on a bungy/rubber cord type material and hence are holding the paint better over time.
