Not vinyl nor a toy, but hey - it is VINTAGE!! I told Flynn about this the last time he was in town and I finally found it.
When I was in Hawaii as a kid (Grade school era) I lived there for four month with my Dad who was working on Oahu. I use to watch all kinds of really cool Japanese Sci Fi shows all the time - Ultra 7, Kikaider, 01, Kamen Rider V3, Denjin Zaboga - non stop. One of my regular shows was Diamond Eye, and they announced he was going to make a personal appearance at a Grocery Store opening in Pearl City - what a coincidence - that is where we were living. So Mom drops me off at the place and there in all his glory is a guy decked out in the FULL on Diamond Eye suit - Looked like it was right from the show - Full on helmet, rubber suit, Diamond staff, you name it. Of course the show was shown on a Japanese Language station with Subs. Turns out I must of been the only haole' watching the show - it was me and about 100 Hawaiian and Asian kids waiting in line to get a poster signed. Here it is after all these years - worse for wear but hey:
