Not vinyl, but rubber. I really regret not snagging these when I saw them way back when. I knew some of you might appreciate these. ![]() ![]() More to come... |

Ahh, jigglers. Looking in ebay brings back some memories! I remember those snakes with the ultra-thin bodies and big heads, and many of the others as well. Here's two more of the dangerous damsels: ![]() ![]() More to come... |

These were actually from Archie McPhee's a couple of years back - not jigglers. |

I had 2 jigglers when I was a kid, one was a lion and the other was a troll/devil. If you stored them with any other plastic toys, they would be absorbed and disolved by the jigglers. Weird greasy evil rubber stuff. I can't believe those things still turn up at such high prices. |

Thanks, Biff. They have some really cool stuff at their website (although I don't see these gals - no longer available, I guess). I've always wanted one of these: http://www.mcphee.com/items/10382.html And this guy would seem to be able to fit into any kaiju collection (and is nicer than many of the other stuff I see around ![]() http://www.mcphee.com/items/M6049.html Well, here's close-ups of the last two ladies in the set: ![]() ![]() |

Jigglers probably command high prices b/c 99% of them did not survive since they fused w/ any plastic they were stored with & they also tore very easily. Bet that greasiness was some toxic, carcenoginic plasticizer. Hope you did not gnaw on your lion ![]() |

JIGGLERS!!!! Heck ya! I have about 6 vintage Batman Jigglers with the original display case somewhere. The cardboard case is pretty beat up but the Batmans are perfect. Loved how crude these were. I think I have a devil jiggler somewhere too that I used to hang in the car but since we moved to the middle of the country my wife didn't want folks getting the impression we were satan worshippers and get lynched so she hid it from me. Were these made by the costume guy "Cooper"? for some reason that name comes to mind when I think of these. |

Those are not proper "jigglers". Those I think are called Danglers and there is another whole series of those - Lots of Marvel and DC as well as Planet of the Apes, etc... Jigglers were a really weird bronzey colored rubber with a real slick outer "skin'. Most of them also had hard plastic eyes. There are a ton of different ones. I have seen everything from goofy people to wacked out Animals. Oh and an FYI - You can still find the Monster Women everywhere in gift stores. They sold them in packages and in dump buckets. They are rather common and fairly new. |

Ahhhh...thanks for the clarification doc! I'll dig the Danglers up anyway and take pics to post...they are pretty awesome. And for me to have found a case of Batman ones since I'm a Batman nut was a major find years ago. Back to "Jigglers"! |

![]() Found an image of the jiggler I had. I remember mine having a white hat. His arms ripped off, but I still played with him. I had a gold dragon, as well. I think these fused w/ other toys (as PK mentioned) & got tossed. |
