The sword is made of a translucent hard plastic, you can not see in the picture but in the handle has an engraved of a throwing star and the sheath of the sword is engraved with a dragon and the word Japan.
I'm seriously thinking in release it ...

Yeah it is a tough one. I don't really have the willpower I think, and I don't really have any display that would make use of packaged toys, but I can also see the other side of it, and fully appreciate that - so I tend to just avoid the temptation altogether and stick with the loose stuff. Which is hard too though, in its own way, because dammit are those headers and backing card fantastic. Just lovin' the artwork on this one. Now, I could be mistake, but seems like there is already a tear in the baggie up front? In which case - now I am not trying to convince you Roger, I swear - but you might just think it is almost as good to open it, because it is not going to be considered 'mint' by any hardcore collectors anyways. The figures I have opened have often been like this, where the bags were too withered or aged to matter, or where I thought the lack of air movement was having a detrimental effect on the toy. You can do it carefully with a sharp knife and pry open the staples gently. Done right, it will allow you to save the header, and even baggie if you want, and, if you so desire for some reason later one, you can re-close it. But to each their own. Either way, one lovely toy.

Thank you Rei for your nice comments :!:
Steve: in fact the bag has a pair of cuts, a small one that can be seen on the bottom next to the feet and one at the top next to the header card, that's the biggest but curiously is the least visible (because the cut is cleaner). I think for now I'll keep the bag closed and try to make a special place for Ninja figures.

Again thanks for all your comments :!: :)
