bought this on ebay from a seller in venezuela who didnt mention any markings, so i thought well, its a nice cheap bootleg. turns out its a yonezawa and made in japan. looks like the "godzilla vs king kong" version.

Wow! finding a small treasure where least expected!! Thats great. I hope there were more of those little surprises in Latin America. I doubt it... I'll keep looking though. (Marx bootlegs don't count) |

That's an awesome Godzilla! Congrats... You had no problems with customs though, huh? I'm currently arranging to get another jumbo from Venezuela and am scared shitless that they are gonna fuck with me again. I'm actually looking into shipping it to Japan first, then back here in the desperate hope to avoid them..... If not that, I think I might ship to someone else's house, just in case I managed to get on some weird "let's fuck with this guy and break all his rare, vintage toys" list.

Similar to the question did Marusan ever do a King Kong figure. All that being said, still a cool item. |
