when i first saw this thing, i thought it was from the moterized monster maker line of toys that you make and put together yourself. that wasnt the case though, as this is japanese made and the head bobs up and down as it walks. found it on ebay while doing some crazy searches.

Very similar in style to the MMM's - I thought that also but I have all 7 different ones of those in one form or another.

It is very cool!

This is great- with the bloodshot eyes and the Dumb and Dumber haircut.
You have a knack for finding the most obscure and amazing stuff. Thanks for sharing.

i think half the fun of ebay is running accross nutty, odscure stuff like this. hey doc, if you have all seven of the moterized monster makers, that would mean you have the robot ? i hear that one is near impossible to find.

Took me years to find it. I did have just the mold for the longest time and was told it was a bootleg of a Topper set from a known "expert". This was back in the mid-90s.

The body used for the Robot? It is is just the Hairy Harry Cavemen painted Red or Blue. And YOU have to do the painting.

Is the one Jim posted above the guy at the back of the line? That box art is really great doc!

And Zayre's....trippy to hear about that little piece of my childhood. I'd get toys there all of the time until they went out of business.
