Post subject:  Help: ID on this toy
I don't even know if this belongs here, but I was hoping some of you might be able to help me in identifying this toy. Just who the makers are (all it say on the header is 'Trademark: ST') and maybe even the year it was made?

.... and there seems to be some sort of white residue that's part of the vinyl on his elbow, anyone know what it is?

From Ultraman Taro (I think this is Ultraman Taro himself, but not real good with the Ultra-folks).

Looks like the maker is Takemi.

Yeah its definitely Taro, I would guess around 1973. Not familiar with Takemi though. Really nice header art, great find TK.

Thanks guys! As for the white stuff, anyone know what it is? Is it that vinyl mold/fungus? I remember there was a thread about that around here....

The mold usually looks like black pitting on the figure. Not sure what the white blob is from the photo.
