Not quite vinyl I know But these sets are pretty fun. ![]() You connect the little gear blocks on the base and stack towers with missile launchers and stuff. You add a crank and make it all work and turn. I used to see these in the catalogs, but could never get the toys as a kid. From what i heard, it's one of the toy lines that lead to the bankruptcy of Bullmark. I can see why, they were very expensive for the time, and the design is very "half baked" in many regards. (The way parts link is very restricting on the playability! Not enough interchangeability between parts, ect) Which is quite surprising. It was quite a cool concept. . The Mach Baron is part of the line, he goes with the "Control tower" set, which I have yet to find. All the Mach Barons I have seen are clear blue, and have yet to see a plain clear one like on the Box and in catalogs. Here's a slide show, you will see I had to reproduce 2 missing parts http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulkaiju/sets/72157626303434965/show/ |

Awesome set Paul. Reminds me of the German Fischer sets I loved as a kid. Not quote as colourful, but amazing playability. I couldn't find any great assembled images, but: ![]() I love how the second one reminds me of the parking garages in Japan ![]() |

Wow! thats what those are??? When I was a kid, my grandparents had a bucket of those things for us to play with when ever we came over. We had no idea what they were cuz we were use to playing with legos and duplo blocks. But they were cool for making vehicles and swords!!! Too bad they got tossed out when my grandparents moved ![]() |

I didn't see a price or anything - they were on a shelf with some vintage godaikins and other stuff. |
