I've had some amazing luck at flea markets. I got a pristine trypticon for 15 bucks and an ultra magnus for 6. One of the best days of my life. |

Nice score! The two robots with swords pictured here? I have spotted them in a few 99 cent stores here in NYC. Apparently there is a button one can push for lights and noise, but in typical 99 cent store fashion every one I ever came across was dead or not working. monstercharm wrote: |

I've never been a big flea market kinda guy--damn flat feet...making walking or standing for long periods of time pretty excruciating. But I still love hearing about the scores. Nekrodave was just at the famous Brimfield Antique Show in Mass, and scored an Arklon Red King in decent shape for $20, along with some cool (and rare) Universal monster ephemera. Pretty dope! Ha! I just noticed Iron Man in the background! |

I had that same whale /shark thing as a kid. It always weirded me out with the angry face and teeth on a happy , harmless whale. I think I had a sawfish too made in the same style. |
