Congrats Scott, I'm happy that ended in good hands :) . I like the details on the mask and the fact that it's a jumbo size.

Great bootleg score!

is there a specific reason why we have to wait until the auctions are over..? (curious)

If you happen to find some gem that is super awesome and maybe mislabeled, going for a bargain with no bids do you really want to tell everyone about it before you get it ?

If I find something I think someone may need and I'm not going to bid on it ... I just discreetly Pm them.

Scobot is right on the money. Many times in the past someone would post "HEY LOOK AT THIS AWESOME TOY WHAT IS IT?" and a fellow SBer would already have done the hard work of scouring YJA just to have everyone and their mom bid it up.

I have not seen one before, but I think it must have lost the cape.

LIES! (Not you, Alebrije, I mean the seller.) This is a recent bootleg out of China, I believe. Its made of a hard plastic. It was originally issued in standard Mazinger colors, then came these outlandish ones. There are also Great Maz and Grendizer versions. That price is just absurd. People are willing to just throw huge amounts of money at anything with "Machinder" in the title. Buyer beware!

Thank you very much for the information Kingboy D, in fact the same seller had another auction with the "Grendizer bootleg" and also was sold it for a good amount of money.

Yes, today early ended the auction.
I think it was a good price compared as regularly end up in YJP.

It's a bargain actually! Especially if you can adopt your toy directly, not pay domestic and international shipping, and commission fees! :x I don't think I've ever seen the standard size tiger on the Bay. Thanks for sharing :P

Here's some auction pics of that strange Batman above. It apparently was some king of parachute toy. Do not remember where the auction ended.

Love the bootleg batmans. So cool. My favorite is the red one.

My all time favorite is this one...and no it's not from ebay or the "other site" ...still not sure why 'ebay' is a bad thing.

Wow that's incredible! I'm assuming they only made these in boys sizes at the time? Would be cool to get two and get a larger one tailored. Really awesome print.
