here are some recent vintage pickups from my trip to japan. ![]() finding the mini dogface on the right complete with wings was epic. cross one off the grail list. here is a pick with the other family members... ![]() ![]() I didn't find my bandai devilman, but got to see a complete one with header card that was mind blowing. ![]() also got to see a collector's dogface with removable mask that has an akira fudo face. urghhh |

That mini dogface still eludes me to this day. The removable mask version of the 12" used to be fairly easy to find, but I have not been looking much lately..... |

Congratulations on all those figures. Really excellent finds. I was often tempted by that removeable mask version, but the one I kept seeing suffered from a lot of bubbling. More Devilman for everyone! |

lurker wrote: ![]() Some amazing finds Chad. Really like the mid size guy on the right. Are those Popy/Bandai or boots also? Its interesting the amount of bootlegged devilman merch that was made. Id like to see all of them together for a group shot. |

All of the fiigures shown here are bootlegs , well except the bandai one. The first official one was the Takatoku version and the Henshin cyborg suit. Super 7 mag #4 is like my bible! I love devilman the most of all things Japanese, I have a sickness to complete all of the vintage figs. |

Drool. I've been watching the 70s cartoon every morning but it's in Spanish which I do not speak but I just turn the sound down anyway. |

Congrats and nice photos. I've been looking for that middle-size dog face for a long time. The light blue bootleg doesn't turn up too often either. |

![]() i hope i'm complete on these now with the addition of the removable mask. I still can't figure out if my regular one has green spray on the chest or the gold sort of just rotted. |

i found that little boot devilman on my last trip to japan and picked it up for a friend. Lucky for me i was with a friend who could speak japanese because the store owner seemed to lose his mind when i asked for it. The owner couldnt believe i had the good taste or knowledge to know about that little devilman. My friend on the other hand was laughing his ass off and translating at the same time. Sorry for the rant, i guess i should just say congrats on finding such a hard piece! |

I thought that was a bit high, I pulled out long before then, but then, the packaging makes all the difference to some folks. Always nice to see decent vintage figures pop up though. |
