Hey all I had a couple questions come to mind lately, and I just wanted to know if anyone could fill me in on the answers. 1. Does anyone know the toxicity of V-color paint once its applied and dried? What about the paint production pieces are painted with (if its not V-Color)? I only ask because I've got a young niece and nephew, and they're always, always staring at the the collection when they visit. If I were to give them something to play with should I be worried about ingesting the paint? 2. Does anyone know where stateside I can get the small stapler and staples that Kaiju companies use to staple their headers to the bag? I'm just using my big clumsy standard sized staples now. =) thanks, Phil |

the paint is such a thin layer, I don't think that if they managed to peel all of it off and eat it at once it would poison them at all. there isn't enough there to do any harm the vinyl is probably more poisonous than the paint haha as for staples, just find some you like the look and size of. as far as I can tell there is no standard. zollmen staples are damn thick and tough to bend. butanohana are smaller and much flimsier |

V-color actually fuses with the vinyl, that is why it is almost impossible to get off. I wouldn't stress about it too much, then again, I have to send out toys in to be tested soon, and I will know the actual score then. |

Like you said, its probably nothing, but peace of mind is a wonderful thing. =) Phil |

Anxiously awaiting your findings. |

These Japanese guys have been using it for years...look at the Marusan vid posted in the other thread, guys been painting for years and not even using a respirator ![]() though...i guess he could be dead now ![]() |
