Has anyone been to this? I believe they are exhibiting a pieces from each of her 5 main bodies of work. really crazy stuff, all around. my good buddy has been hired by her to document this retrospective, which they plan to turn into a full length documentary. i hope i'll be able to keep a straight face when sitting across from her.. Open through May

I added a disclaimer above. Some folks may want to wait until they get home to view this. I had not heard about this until the other night when I watched a news story about the models having issues with patrons groping them. That being said, it definitely seems like an interesting exhibit to check out. |

I have a feeling a lot of people are using this as a chance to one-up someone who can't be stared down...Abramovic is one hardcore lady, maybe you won't be able to keep a straight face Joel, but she won't be laughing...she will eat you alive. Look up her performance "Lips of Thomas." I haven't been to this yet, but plan on going soon. |

atease- thanks for adding the disclaimer at the top.. i guess i overlooked that due to the fact that the nudity is under the guise of "art" i saw we have a SB meetup at marina.. place a nagnagnag opposite her and see if that doesn't make her bat an eyelash or two the craziest part to me is that she's been sitting there every day the museum is open, from morning till evening and when its all said and done, she will have been sitting there for what will have been 2 and a half months! |

Marina is not too hard core after all: have you seen the Andreas Serrano doc where they discuss a photo he wants to shoot of her?  Mind you I think she's pretty cool... |
