If you are going to NYCC, Saturday night Star & Dagger is playing the Mercury Lounge with the Chrome Cranks. The show is onlyl $12... I will be running the Star & Dagger merch booth selling t-shirts and the Star & Dagger In My Blood EP on Last Hurrah Records. Come by and say hello. Star & Dagger members include Sean Yseult (from White Zombie), Dava She Wolf (from Cycle Sluts from Hell), Dave Catching (from Eagles of Death Metal), and Gene Trautmann (from Queens of the Stone Age). |

Star and Dagger came to LA for a sell out show I was lucky enough to attend. As well as a star studded audience, the band fukkin rocked super hard. Plus I got to meet and hang out briefly with Sean Yusealt who plays bass in S&D and rocks just as hard as in her White Zombie days. There are other familiar band members fomr teh likes of Eagles of Death Metal, QOTSA and Cycle Sluts fomr Hell in teh band, and its all topped off by ther rad lead singer - who obviously has a thing for Cherie Curry - no bad thing I say! Add to that the dipped in blood vinyl with Lyndsey Kuhn sleev that Chad has posied to arrest your senses at teh merch booth and...well....killer stuff. See em - if u like guitars - chances are youll love em. best show I saw in quite a while TBH. |
