Who's going? Who wants to get together? I'll be there Friday, Me and the wife will be there Sat in matching T-shirts passing out postcards like a couple of jerks, but we'll need a break at some point. Also Jamie is going to have a booth in artist alley and his book is really good if your into horror. |

i'm there all three days, wearing the sign that says "NERD!" on it... i call it camouflage. i've got a couple friends coming in from out of state, and we do most of our hanging around in artists' alley, so i'll be sure to look for jamie. as for "taking breaks"... mccormick center sucks balls as far as places to eat, unless you like crappy chains, then you're all good. i tried to organize a little field trip into chinatown last year, but i lost out to the moa and complain crowd. i could definitely see a little izakaya at lure again, though! |

Yeah, I was thinking a night excursion or something, maybe lunch? I know we've gotta be there for breaks and stuff for Jamie too. |

i was thinking day trips... anything else depends on which night. two of the guys coming in from out of state have connections with quite a few writers/artists/creators, so last year we ended up hanging out with a big group at the hotel and ordering food into the lobby. though i'd totally be down for trying to convince everyone to check out the happening night-life down in chinatown square! =p |

I don't know if I'll have enough money to go all three days, but I'm definitely up for going at least one day which would most likely be Saturday. All I need to do to prepare is to find a rubber chicken for Svengoolie to sign! lol. I do have a glass one, but I don't think a signature would last too long on glass...

lol, you'd think so, but...  It's pretty sweet, if I have a picture of it in my phone I can upload the pic relatively quickly, otherwise I take forever to upload pictures from my camera... Maybe I'll bring it with just to see if I can get a pic of Svengoolie (Rich Koz) holding it..? Edit* - Just checked my phone and I don't see it... Ah well. |

I can't wait to see all of the figures in person, especially the Lion Armorvor!  By the way, any specific plans for Saturday or should I just text you guys when I get there? A few other friends of mine are going as well, but they usually get to these places after 2pm if not later, so I'll be just running around from booth to booth most of the time. I'll also have my car in case we'll want to go a little further away to eat. Probably not though depending on how pricey the parking fees are (I honestly don't remember how much parking was). Anywho, see you guys soon!

this year's haul... (it was a good year for all things "dr who"):        looks like we failed to get together for lunch... again... but i've got to admit, it was a great con this year. a few artists i hoped would be in the alley weren't there, but i guess we're competing with toronto (is that right?) for the same weekend, but plenty of good artists still to be found this year! |

It was awesome to see everyone again. Thanks to everybody who popped by the Nerd City booth. It ended up being a huge success!
