Post subject:  South Florida get-together
A couple of us South Floridians are discussing a gathering. Just wanted to see if anyone else had any interest. The few of us generally have similar tastes and interests (vintage or vintage-style), but all are welcome. We are in the Miami / Broward / Palm Beach area. Thinking of perhaps a dinner with a show-and-tell type setup. Home visits are a possibility too. Post here if interested and we can iron out the details (dates, locations, etc.) later.

Also I don't mess with vintage(just SB and Cure for me) but I've been in awe of Jordan's collection the couple times I've seen it in person.

I'm definitely interested. I am in the Tampa Bay area. It's a bit of a trek over there but if timing is right I might be able to make it. Of course central FL would be better. Let's see who else is around, maybe we can have our own.

We bought a tiny 800sqft condo to house my collection and art studio. We did a lot of refurbishing since it was built in 73. My stuff can't possibly match all the cool stuff that Kingboy D saw in Miami but it's a fun collection. If you guys are willing to come here we can meet at what I call Studio 11 (it's really just Unit 11 but, well, you know...).
It's in Sun City Center in a gated community called King's Point. It's Bay/Gulf-side about halfway between Tampa (north) and Sarasota (south).
I will take your orders for pizza, soft drinks and ice cream, gelato or frozen yogurt. Any other stuffs you need you can bring as well. You can bring stuff to trade or sell if you like.

Very cool setup! I think if I had something like that, I would just move a mattress into the center of the place and never leave!!
