They're screening Matango at the Vortex Room tonight. It's the second film in a double feature. The first film is The Big Cube at 9:00 PM. I don't know what that is, but Matango screens at 11:00 PM. I hope to be there with my girlfriend, but both of us are getting over colds and may have to pass. Don't know if anyone here has been to the Vortex Room, but it's a cool little spot in the SOMA area (1082 Howard St.) that screens weird, cool and crappy films. There's a small bar and a good vibe all around. It's a tiny venue, so get there early for a good seat.
