Hi y'all, I have about 20-50 lbs of sculpting clay. Some of it is dry-in-the-air-no-need-to-bake clay, but the majority of it is red clay for use in art sculpting. i suppose you could use it to make vases and such but it is not pottery clay for spinning on the wheel. For reference, you don't have to use sculptee to make figs for making silicone molds. you can use regular old clay that gets destroyed when you pull it out of the mold. if you use the dry-in-the-air stuff your orig sculpt may survive. mine never do, but thats just part of my mystique and a crucial part of my marketing plan. anyway, so this stuff can be used for moldmaking, i'd just toss on some gloss varnish before casting the silicone when using the terra cotta. bam, shamwow! no better bargain than free, i'm moving and can only keep so much of my clay stash. any takers? |

Could you build an enormous catapult or arbolast out of found scrap lumber and bamboo? Then you could fling it here to midwest fly over country; I'd use it. (Note that I have no skills, it would be like Peter Voulkos making kaiju... not a pretty thought!) I can't believe it would go to waste, stuff is useful. |
