If you dont know who they are go, you will see one of the best post punk bands that ever existed. I wish I was in SF just to see this, and Flipper is on the bill with the Toiling Midgets too. ![]() |

Flipper? Even though Will's dead? Well I guess that's rock and roll for ya. I haven't seen Savage Republic since they opened for PiL in 1982, heh. Cafe du Nord is a tiny venue. They've hosted a number of OG punk-ish shows in recent years including reunions of The Mutants and Crime. Perfect place for a show like this. |

A friend of mine gave me a bunch of Savage Republic vinyl 45's a few years ago. I don't have a turntable to play them on, though. ![]() |
