Can we start a list of who's coming? I want to see the demo that Dead Presidents is doing. Could be some real surprises and exclusives. I hear that Dream Rockets, Dead Presidents, Sunguts and Max Toys will be there not just Saturday, but some on Sunday too. Keep a tab on Joe's blog and Mark Nagata's "Max's Head" section at his Max Toys store site for more updates and information. I hear that Kirkland's blog may have some documentary surprises as early as Saturday, before the show, provided his documentary skills and time allows. Saturday at Double Punch in San Francisco 12/12/2009 SCHEDULE: 6pm for Matt Walker / Dead Presidents Designs Pin Stripe Demo and give away! 7pm the Show begins with Yajima-san of Dream Rockets and Ichimiya-san of SunGuts, who I understand are in the US for the first time for a show, along with Mark Nagata of Max Toys and Matt Walker of Dead Presidents. For those who have not been to a Double Punch exhibit, let me tell you -- it is small and intimate. Even if you are shy and don't want to talk to an artist there, if it gets crowed, you will have to just to move about on the second floor! Usually it is not too crowed for average shows, but this one is shaping up to be a hidden gem. If you are local and miss this, you will probably regret it later, whether you buy anything or not. Dean akum6n, yes, it's in North Beach and unless you don't mind paying for one of the garages in the area, parking will probably be difficult. You might try parking at one of the Union Square garages, then taking a bus. Problem is the busses from Union Square to NB are very crowded and slow ... just walking would probably be faster and more pleasant. Can anyone help better than this? I don't remember what the best parking options in the immediate area are. |

I have friends in town and no interest in any of the companies that are involved. I would go simply to hang out with you guys and well I do that plenty of that as is. |

I just talked to Mark and he said that there will be over 50 customs. Sounds like alot of boxes will be unpacked Thursday and Friday! It just keeps getting better.

Nope. Not until Saturday. But a group of us had a blast out together tonight. Got to see some pictures of what is coming. Paintings, customs, and more surprises. It will blow the minds of collectors, that is for sure. |
