Seriously, fuck this rain. I can't wait for summer. SF summer isn't really a summer, but it's still a million times better than melting in Texas. |

I'm SF weather spoiled. Awesome weather 99% of the time. I don't have to deal with crazy heat. I don't have to shovel tons of snow. Awesome. The only thing that really bums me out is sometimes when I'm at a crosswalk and I see the name of the streets stamped in the concrete and I remember....."Oh yeah...just in case there's a huge earthquake and there are no more buildings standing." |

^ Ha! Joe Bunny, my Hubby and I are both geologist, but he's originally from the East coast. When we had our little quakes he used to cheer (madly), but now since we're property owners (tiny condo) his attitude has been "adjusted" . The Sun must know when it's a work day, because it's beautiful and sunny in Pleasanton right now.... sigh |

I'm so excited it's not rainy today even though I like the rain...it's getting annoying. FINALLY my soccer team might get to make up games from December. |

"The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco" - Mark Twain I've been enjoying the rain. I kinda like the atmosphere, bundling up, cooking things that warm you to the bone and all that. My back yard plants and neighboring Golden Gate Park have been VERY happy about the rain. This spring is going to be very robust in the flora department. Those of us with pollen allergies are going to suffer big time. Despite enjoying the rains, I'm also feeling that need for some sunshine. The brief bursts of sun that we've had lately have felt so good, almost to the point of novelty. Plus the unintentional Goth look gets old. |

winter in s.f. is worse than big snowy cold winter in some ways. at least living in nebraska, iowa and minnesota i knew what i was getting into each winter. winter here teases you constantly with little glimpses of sunlight and warmth, but then remains cold, rainy and gloomy for like five months. bleh. i sort of miss shoveling the driveway sometimes, dont at all miss scraping car windows. |

...not quite! *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM* There is a BIG thunderstorm going on in Pleasanton right now! What a weird winter and spring we've had. Need to have my Mom's house painted (badly), but these late Spring storms are gumming up all the works! Ooogh! Another round of Booms and Roars! I hope Henry and Emma are ok! Need to install a kitty cam at home, so I can watch what they're doing! Only 3 more hours to go, here at the office |
