Post subject:  valencia street damage.
So a bunch of people came down Valencia busting everything in sight. Storefront windows, cars, slashing tires, spray painting everything.

We were hanging out playing w/ building blocks (around 9pm) when we heard loud noises. Looked out the window and saw a bunch of people in the streets chanting "Fuck Cops", yeah cool whatever, but then they all started smashing all the windows and throwing paint bombs. It was loud. We live on the top floor of our building and could hear the windows being smashed and cars being stomped. It was loud enough to scare my baby and make him cry.

Something was off about this whole thing, didn't feel like anything OccupySF or the Black Blocc would do. I would think they would fuck shit up in the Financial District, not some lil block on Valencia. Not only that, police cruisers were following them for blocks and not doing anything, just letting all this destruction happen.

Man I'm lols at how this dude was surprised by any of it.
I think it's all a crock of shit. Summer squatters who waited for the weather to get warmer to "protest". I wish people would take a cue from the LA riots, grab a firearm and stand by theirs businesses and defend themselves against "occupying".

LOL, the dude who thinks the people eating a delfina or farina are "boojie". Insecurity of lifestyle is often turned into class issues when they shouldnt be and I think that one line spoke volumes.

I would ran from my house to bash their heads for knowing they woke Otto.

The site name is kinda weird :? , but I agree those guys that tore up valencia street last night are d-bags. Destroying property doesn't change any thing for their cause. Now struggling businesses have to foot the bill for clean up and tax payers to pay for cleaning up the police station. The whole anarchist thing is bullshit, These guys would shit their pants if anarchy were to really happen. I feel like these folks are not even from here. If your "against the establishment" and you wanted to make your mark why would you choses Valencia street? Why not the Marina? or Soma? What makes me mad is that folks like that fuck it up for the real message. We do need to stand up to corrupter and government greed. Im losing my job in 14 days because of the government. I totally want to get out my frustrations, but not like that. We have to be smarter.

Just out of curiosity , what job would you work at where the " Government" would cause you to become unemployed?I can think of a few but won't list them as I don't want to make light of your pending unemployment .
