Ummmmm! Shaker meets robot sexual rituals. Interesting way to sell cloths. Bizarre! But then again I tend to like the bizarre. |

I love these photos. I don't even care if the robots are in them or not. I love the look regardless. I remember when they were published, that thought it funny they would fail to appeal to my robot collecting friends ( weak toys) but did appeal to my work crew who were a bunch of designers who did not care if the toys were "rare" of not. Thanks for posting them. I thought the models had this great cyber/dutch Odd Nerdum appeal to them personally. |

Seems totally random to me. Why the combination of quasi-nun-like outfits (sorry, no idea the source) and robots? Doesn't add up even in a "cool / random" way and thus, to me doesn't work at all. |

Yeah, except the models and art direction for the Playboy thing were more in your straight forward candy/plastic/vinyl/porn vein, as opposed to the goofy Johannes Vermeer meets 70's horror movie style of this one. (and yes, it featured Machinders) |

Reminds me of Ken Russells "The Devils", loads of mental nuns. Just need Ollie Reed lurking about in the background, drunk. |
