Thought I'd post some pictures of the sculpt I finished up. The Executioner, I've also created a cloth hood for the character, but left it off so you guys could see the head. Sorry for the B&W, the figure is flesh sculpey with gray primer so I thought the change in colors was making the photos a bit tricky to eye. Hope everyone enjoys. I'm working with another board member and we're going to tool ball joints and get some ball jointed resin figures out.

thats some good sculpting technique. the pants are very crisp. I don't really understand the character yet, does he have a backstory?

Thanks, I've been meaning to illustrate a short story for the character, but until then. He's an executioner, a sadistic, deformed killing machine with an axe for a hand. Employed by his king to kill the condemned prisoners. His grotesque deformed appearance just reflects what he does for a living. Like I said, there is a cloth hood, as traditional executioners were always hooded, I just took pictures with it off so you guys could see the head.

Pretty sweet. The only thing I'd change is the left arm. I don't mind the shriveled, deformed part. But I just wish it wasn't bent back like that.
Can't wait to see the progress on the joints and some color shots.
