Here's a new sculpt I'm working on, tentatively known as "Dumpster Bot."
It's going to have a hinged lid and and ball jointed arms.

It's a particularly evil dumpster that can be found thoughout the universe alongside The InterGaldiator causing mayhem and destruction.

He'll eat just about anything.

Looking good. And love the idea behind it.

Whoa! Love the concept.
The headlight eyes are cool.
Imagine all the cool stuff to toss in there.

The new sculpt looks great. I am going to have to dedicate a section of my room to Monstrehero stuff in the end. No denying that you guys are pushing the resin envelope. I love the articulation on the lid.

It kind of reminds me of the robots from Silent Running.

thanks guys, I just finished the hinge for the lid and I think it will work out great. He is also going to have ball jointed arms (fingers crossed they work).

@Keith: You mean you don't have a whole MH room already, wtf?

I could see them being friends, Dumpster Bot makes some compost and Silent Running Bots spread it around the garden.

Nice!

Just don't run into him with your go cart. Man, it's nice to know other people have seen this movie. I loved it when they talked about it on Six Feet Under.

Great work Cliff! It's nice to see that the lid/mouth will be hinged. Now I'll have somewhere to keep all my Dumpster Monsters. A clear Dumpster Bot full of Dumpster Monsters would be pretty cool. :)

Ya gotta show how you mold that and make copies.
It kinda reminds me of the old Ghostbuster toys that turned from objects to monsters.

Any chance it'll be big enough to hold the glut of extra Intergaladiator weapons??

Hehehe, he makes me chuckle somehow. He's kinda cute with his round eyes/lights and the big mouth. But that might be intentional to deceive potential victims.

And here's a small detail to make him a little more intimidating.

*He will have arms...eventually*

This is getting better & better with each showing. The skull and crossed hobo knapsacks (?) adds a fun/menacing element. Dumpster Bot is growing on me.

RAD Cliff! That thing is insane looking with appendages sneaking out. How many Monstre babies do you think would fit inside?

This Friday in the MonstreShop we'll be putting these crystal clear dumpster fellas. They look amazingly clear and fun with Dumpster Monstres inside!

Wow. looks like glass

What's the curing time for that resin?
I have no patience... I always rip the mold open prematurely despite the resin type. The fact that I just made a duplicate of my own toy fills me with uncontrollable excitement.

Thanks!! I am really proud of my lil dumpy

Depends on the thickness of the piece, but most pieces are about 1 hour...though this guy has very thin parts, so I leave him in the mold 24 hours  it's nerve racking everytime.

Worth the wait! I bet that is nerve racking! I don't feel so bad about my 15 min mold time. :D
