hey everyone

been working on a new sculpt, hopefully i can scrounge enough cash in a week or two and get started on the molds

here are some pics tell me what you guys think! He is roughly fight figure size but a little wider than say a secret base figure. no articulation (sorry), also still working on a name for him.

You may have some issues going into resin with this sculpt.

lots of under cuts on this, unless you were planning on doing a 3 part mold this is going to be tricky.

he is going to be broken down into 6 pieces ( head, arms, body and legs) and then molds made for each piece. I know there is no way this guy is gonna be able to be cast in one whole piece. even casting him in 6 pieces will require some cleanup, etc

If you're already going to be breaking it down into the 6 pieces, it shouldn't be too difficult to engineer some sort of rudimentary articulation. You'll probably want some sort of peg system to assist with assembly anyway.

I definitley would have to bulk up the arms on the top if i were to do a peg type system, this is a rough sculpt anyway! so i will probably be making another sculpt and improve on some things that I'm now noticing need improvement, mainly the upper portion of the arms

Looks good. You should articulate the head and arms. Beef up the arms a little and it should work. A fight figure wouldn't have weak arms anyway.

It is rift with undercuts. I'm glad I'm not casting it.
It will be awesome if you figure it out though.
Maybe fill in some of the undercuts like the back of the head.
